The rats currently looking for homes are listed in our 'Rats needing homes' section. If you wish to adopt a rat(s) then get in touch through email and we'll send you our adoption form. ALL potential adopters are required to fill out the adoption application. It is vital that we know what sort of home you're offering incase it doesn't suit a particular rat you're after.
If you wish to surrender a rat to us, please keep in mind we don't drive. Many times we have to annoy friends or relatives for lifts, or take trains and buses to collect rats. While I am glad to take rats out of dangerous situations, it is a HUGE help if you can deliver the rat(s) to us. Please remember we are doing YOU a favour by taking rats off your hands that you no longer want. I also have to pay train fairs, petrol, etc and that takes money out of the rescue. If you have a cage for the rat(s) that you no longer need, please consider donating it to the rescue. This would extremely helpful as we are not made of money and can't splash out on a new cage everytime we are contacted about a rat.
All of our rats are rescues. If you're looking for breeder rats, there is only one NFRS registered reputable breeder in Ireland. The link is below.
We do not re-home to people looking for feeder rats - do not ask.
